Diagnostic opportunities of spiral computer tomography (sct) in the characteristic for intrathoracic limph nodes in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis

Abstract

Research is based on results of inspection of 38 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, suspected mediastinum adenopathy. All patients were X-ray examined, including the conducting of a SCT study. It has found, that SCT allows to carry out a visual observation of intrathoracic lymph nodes, to estimate proportions and changes of the structure. Comparison of data SCT to results of surgical intervention and morphological researches is lead. Signs of specific lesion of lymph nodes were formulated. The most important diagnostic attributes tubercular lymph nodes are change of structure of lymph nodes due to sites of the raised density over 50 units HU and formation of conglomerates lymph nodes .
