Arterial reconstructions pioneers of extraanatomic bypass grafts

  • В. Княжев University Hospital "St.Anna”, Vascular surgery clinic,Varna, Bulgaria
Keywords: Extraanatomic bypass, crossover bypass

This article chronologically explains the origination of the first operations of extraanatomic bypass on patients with chronic arterial insufficiency. Indications of such operations have been presented and also the importance of the implementation of hemodynamic conditions has been emphasized as necessary for the success of the intervention.
